![]() ![]() ![]() With many of the full instruments that you may not own, velocity programming will be restricted if at all in Analog Lab. Again requiring you own those instruments in full so you open the instrument editor and then send velocity info into various synth parameters. Many sounds in Analog Lab wont respond to velocity. The only way to change that is to own the actual instrument in full so you can then go in and turn the arp off etc. For example some sounds will only play in arpeggiated form and not as single note shots. They will often restrict you in what you can do even despite have an editor control panel appear along with presets. Win 10, 64-bit, new install, 32 GB Ram, i7 Studio 192 interface Studio One 5.5 latest versions of all softwareĪnalog Lab instruments are meant to give you a taste of the whole V Collection compliment. I assumed this is an issue in the Analog software and have worked around it for years, but decided I’d see if any of you have a suggestion. But after the notes are recorded, whether on 100% or 1% velocity in the editor, the volume doesn’t change. I mapped a knob on my midi keyboard to volume in Analog Lab and that works when recording (the knob controls the volume as I record). If I take a track with Presence on it that works correctly and add Analog IV, Analog IV does not work correctly, even when using the midi that did work. I also use Superior Drummer and that also works correctly. The software in Studio One, like Presence, does work right regarding changing the velocity of notes. I have 2 Akai keyboards and a nectar and the result is the same using all of them. In the editor, if I select a note (or all) and set the velocity to 1%, the volume doesn’t change from that at 100%. ![]() I cannot edit the notes’ volume/velocity. When I create a midi, either by playing a midi key board or creating the notes by hand (with the mouse). The Arturia Analog Lab IV software has never worked as expected (I tried them and didn’t get any help). I’ve been using Studio One 5 for about 5 years. ![]()
